Default Echo Warrior?

I was just thinking, wouldn't an echo warrior be a great build? I mean, what if you had 2 cleaves on the same skill bar, wouldn't that be pretty deadly?

edit: or does echo only pertain to skills, not attacks?

Keep thinking. You might finally come to realize that Echo and Cleave are both elites. Further down the road you might even realize Evisect is much much better than Cleave. Continue thinking from here.

Echo works on any skill. But Echo and Cleave are both elite.*

Um... I guess you could use Echo to go Galrath->Galrath->Final... doesn't strike me as a very effective way to go about things, though.

* Yes, I know, Arcane Mimicry. But, c'mon. Seriously.

my idea was that since cleave only requires 4 adrenaline perhaps you could use echo then cleave and from there use cleave almost every other swipe of the axe. ... for those that didnt understand lol...

and if you didn't understand, both of those skills are elite which means you can't equip them both at the same time which also means you idea won't work.

Everyone else realized this and began suggesting skill combinations that were actually FEASIBLE.

Arcane mimicry will make it possible, its still not worth it though.

Echo Fear Me with Tactics 13. Use FGJ to make it even more effective.

mesmer skills for Paladins:

Arcane echo only copies spells, and its too expensive to use it as warrior anyways.
Echo copies anything (thats why its an elite, and not because its cheaper and faster)
Arcane mimicry copes the elite skill of an ally for 15 energy, just like echo.

arcane mimicry another warriors elite skill for 15 energy
arcane mimicry the echo of an ally to echo your elite skill for only 20 energy
Do both of the above for tripple elite power for only 35 energy.

Or just stand by your mending!!!

The good thing with echo on adrenaline skills is that it copies the stored adrenaline on it. that does not give a bonus if you just had another adrenaline skill instead of echo, but its one doubled adrenaline skill with it. The bad thing is that its adrenaline goes with the skill after 20 seconds.
Think ... more... ah hope you got it now:

Echo for a warrior is as usefull as an iway pet against a healing ball.
but there are still a few usefull combos:
Echo Executioner's Strike, Galrath Slash, Final Thrust for more maxdamage (face the irony).
Echo rush, berserker stance, doylak signet ... to double its duration.
Echo hanmmer skills that cost a lot of adrenaline to have one more high adrenaline skill.
Echo hammer bash and heavy blow (dont know if that makes sense because of losing all adrenaline)

Actually if it DOES copy the adrenaline, you use it right before you use Final Thrust or Hammer Bash and it may copy the full adrenaline for another fully charged spike with it.

Hmmm I may have to go try that out with Final Thrust, since sword would gain the most benefit from using echo as their elite and not an attack skill.

But if you Echo'ed Final Thrust, wouldn't the copy lose all its adrenaline when you use the original?

No, it doesn't. The echo copies it right after the skill is used. So you now have two copies of the same adrenal skill at 0 adrenaline.

And having two copies of the same adrenaline burning skill is kind of uh.. stupid? You could only use one at a time anyway.

Arcane Echo won't work for Warrior attack skills. Obviously.

Arcane Mimicry would, but...
If you Mimic Eviscerate or Devastating Hammer, you'd get to use it at most twice before it switched back and went into recharge (~8-11 sec to charge and use it, and Mimicry will reset and go into recharge in 20 sec). Cleave you could probably use 3-4x and screw over the adrenaline gain for Eviscerate at the same time. These times are all based on near-perfect situations. Add in Aegis, Ward vs Melee, Guardian, or something like that and you'd be lucky to use the Mimicry'd attack skill once or twice.

That leaves something like Echoing Galrath or Executioner's, which would play out something like this:

Charge Galrath. Use Echo, then use Galrath. Charge both Galraths. Spike someone. Charge up like 5 or 6 strikes in both Galraths again, the Echoed Galrath resets and Echo goes into recharge. Galrath. Recharge. Wait for 30 seconds with a useless skill. Repeat.

It seems to me like an overwhelming amount of dicking around and horribly inefficient at the same time. So you get to use Eviscerate AND Cleave a couple times every 60 seconds. So what?

That's about the only viable use for Echo on a Warrior I can think of offhand.
